How to Contact Your Community Owner on LaunchPass

Need to get in touch with the owner of your Slack or Discord community? Follow these simple steps to find the right contact information.

Finding the Owner in Discord

Method 1: Server Member List

  1. Open the Discord server

  2. Look at the right sidebar for member list

  3. Look for users with:

    • Crown (πŸ‘‘) icon

    • "Owner" badge

    • Special role colors at the top

Method 2: Server Information

  1. Right-click the server icon

  2. Select "Server Info"

  3. Check the "Members" tab

  4. Owners are listed first

Method 3: Welcome Channel

  1. Look for a #welcome or #rules channel

  2. Check pinned messages

  3. Look for admin introductions


Finding the Owner in Slack

Method 1: Channel Details

  1. Click the channel name at the top

  2. Select "View channel details" (β“˜)

  3. Go to the "Members" tab

  4. Look for "Workspace Owner" or "Admin"

Method 2: Direct Search

  1. Click the search bar

  2. Type "is:admin" or "is:owner"

  3. Press Enter

  4. Review the list of administrators

Method 3: About This Workspace

  1. Click your workspace name

  2. Select "Settings & administration"

  3. Choose "Workspace settings"

  4. Check "Primary Owner"


Finding Owner Contact Information

Check Your Email:

  1. Welcome Emails:

    • Look for your initial welcome email from LaunchPass

    • Check the bottom of the email for contact information

    • Search your inbox for "Welcome to [Community Name]"

  2. Invoice Emails:

    • Find your subscription confirmation or receipt

    • Look at the bottom of the email

    • Search for emails from "LaunchPass" containing "receipt" or "invoice"

  3. Subscription Confirmation:

    • Locate your subscription confirmation email

    • Check the footer for support or contact details

If You Can't Find the Email:

  1. Search your email for:

    • "LaunchPass"

    • "Welcome to [Community Name]"

    • "Subscription Confirmation"

    • "Payment Receipt"

  2. Check your spam/junk folder

  3. Look in your email's "All Mail" or "Archive" folder


What to Include in Your Message

Essential Information:

  1. Your Username: In the community

  2. Email: Associated with your account

  3. Subject: Clear reason for contact

  4. Details: Be specific about your issue

Example Message:

Subject: Question About My Subscription

Hello [Community Name] Team,

My username: @yourusername
Email: [email protected]

I'm reaching out because [explain your question or issue]. I've already tried [any troubleshooting steps].

Thank you for your help!

Best regards,
[Your Name]

What Not to Do:

  • Don't share passwords

  • Avoid multiple messages

  • Don't @mention repeatedly

  1. Contact LaunchPass Support:

  2. Please Include:

    • The name of the community

    • Your account email

    • Details of your previous attempts to contact the owner
