What Happens to My Subscription If I Delete My Discord Account?

If You Delete Your Discord Account

What Happens:

  • Subscription Continues: Your LaunchPass subscription remains active

  • Billing Continues: You'll still be charged

  • Access Issues: You won't be able to access the community

Important Notes:

  • Deleting Discord doesn't cancel your subscription

  • You must cancel separately through LaunchPass

  • Previous payments are non-refundable


If You Cancel Through LaunchPass

What Happens:

  1. Access Continues: Until the end of your billing period

  2. No Refunds: For the current billing period

  3. No Future Charges: After the current period ends

How to Check:

  1. Log in to LaunchPass

  2. Go to "My Subscriptions"

  3. Check the status


What Stays Active

Still Active:

  • Your LaunchPass account

  • Email notifications

  • Billing information

What's Lost:

  • Server access

  • Messages and history

  • Server roles and permissions


How to Keep Access

Option 1: Update Discord Account

  1. Create a new Discord account

  2. Contact the community owner

  3. Ask to transfer your subscription

Option 2: Use a Different Platform

  1. Check if the community is on another platform

  2. Ask the owner about other access methods

  3. Update your subscription details

Option 3: Pause Instead of Delete

  2. You can reactivate later
