How to Update Your Email Address on LaunchPass

Need to change the email address associated with your LaunchPass account? Follow these simple steps to ensure a smooth transition.

Update Your Email Address

Step 1: Access Your Account Settings

  1. Log in to your LaunchPass account

  2. Click on your profile picture in the top right corner

  3. Select "Account Settings" from the dropdown menu

Step 2: Change Your Email

  1. Find the "Email Address" section

  2. Click "Edit" or "Change Email"

  3. Enter your new email address

  4. Enter your current password for security

  5. Click "Save Changes"

Step 3: Check Your Inbox

  • Look for a verification email from [email protected]

  • Click the verification link in the email

  • If you don't see it, check your spam/junk folder


Verify Your New Email

Important Notes:

  • You must verify your new email within 24 hours

  • Your old email will remain active until verification is complete

  • All future communications will be sent to your new email

If You Didn't Receive the Verification Email:

  1. Check your spam/junk folder

  2. Search for "LaunchPass email verification"

  3. Wait 5 minutes and check again

  4. Click "Resend Verification Email" in your account settings


Update Connected Accounts

Discord/Slack Connections:

  • Your community access is not affected by email changes

  • No need to update these connections separately

Payment Methods:

  • Your saved payment methods will transfer automatically

  • Update your billing email if needed in the Billing section

Community Memberships:

  • All your community memberships will remain active

  • Your access rights and history are preserved


Troubleshooting

"Email Already in Use"

  • You may already have another account with this email

  • Try resetting your password for that email

  • Contact support if you need to merge accounts

Can't Access Old Email

  • Update your email before losing access to the old one

  • If already locked out, contact support with:

    • Your full name

    • Old and new email addresses

    • Last 4 digits of your payment method

Verification Link Expired

  • Request a new verification email

  • Complete the process within 24 hours

Not Receiving Emails

  • Check your spam/junk folder

  • Add [email protected] to your contacts

  • Whitelist our domain with your email provider

    • Clear your browser cache

    • Try a different web browser

    • Check your internet connection

  2. Contact LaunchPass Support:

When contacting support, please provide:

  • Your full name

  • Old and new email addresses

  • The date you attempted the change

  • Any error messages received
