Stripe allows you to customize when you receive payouts from your account. Here's how to adjust your payout schedule:

Accessing Payout Settings

  1. Log into your Stripe Dashboard at dashboard.stripe.com

  2. Navigate to Settings by clicking the gear icon in the left sidebar

  3. Select "Bank accounts and scheduling" under the Business settings section

Changing Your Payout Schedule

Standard Options

Stripe offers several payout frequency options:

  • Daily - Receive payouts every business day

  • Weekly - Choose a specific day of the week (Monday through Friday)

  • Monthly - Select a specific date each month (1st through 31st)

Making the Change

  1. In the payout scheduling section, click "Edit" next to your current schedule

  2. Select your preferred frequency from the dropdown menu

  3. If choosing weekly, pick your preferred day of the week

  4. If choosing monthly, select your preferred date

  5. Click "Save" to confirm your changes

Important Considerations

Processing Time: Changes to your payout schedule typically take effect within 1-2 business days.

Minimum Payout Amounts: Some payout schedules may have minimum thresholds. Daily payouts usually require a minimum of $1, while weekly and monthly may have higher minimums depending on your location.

Business Days Only: Payouts are processed on business days only, excluding weekends and bank holidays.

Country Restrictions: Available payout frequencies may vary based on your country. Some regions may have limited options.

Manual Payouts

For immediate access to funds, you can also trigger manual payouts:

  1. Go to Balance in your Stripe Dashboard

  2. Click "Pay out funds"

  3. Enter the amount you want to pay out

  4. Confirm the transaction

Manual payouts are subject to the same processing times as scheduled payouts and may have fees depending on the speed selected.

Your new payout schedule will apply to all future earnings once the change takes effect.
