Welcome to the LaunchPass Telegram Guide for Windows/PC Desktop! This guide will walk you through all the steps necessary to start selling access to your Telegram Channels and/or Groups.
Adding LaunchPass to Telegram Groups
Step 1: Open up your group in the Telegram App and click on the three dots in the upper-right corner of the screen.
Step 2: Select 'Manage group' to make changes to your group.
Step 3: Select 'Administrators' towards the bottom of the screen.
Step 4: At the bottom of the screen, you should see 'Add Administrator'. Click this to continue.
Step 5: Enter 'LaunchPass' in the text-box at the top. Look for the rocket-ship emoji and then select the 'LaunchPass' bot.
Step 6: In the following screen, click 'OK' to add the bot as a member, and promote it to administrator in one step.
Step 7: Save permissions. (Minimal required permissions are 'Ban users' and "Invite users via link")
Nice work! Click on LaunchPass to start selling access to your group! Connect your Telegram and you should be able to see your Telegram group under 'Select Channel'
Troubleshooting: If you don't see a specific group on this drop-down box, make sure that the bot is present and has administrator permissions on that channel/group! The LaunchPass Bot should be present on any channel or group that you want your users to pay for.
Adding LaunchPass to Telegram Channels
Step 1: Open up your channel in the Telegram App and click on the three dots in the upper-right corner of the screen, and then click on 'Manage Channel'.
Step 2: Double-check that your channel is private. If it is public, change the 'Channel Type' to private by clicking on 'Channel type'. Then click on the 'Administrators' at the bottom.
Step 3: Click on 'add administrator' at the bottom of the following 'administrator' screen.
Step 4: Search for LaunchPass in the text-box at the top and then look for the rocket-ship to find the 'LaunchPass' bot.
Step 6: Add the bot to the channel and promote them to admin with the following pop-up.
Step 7: Final step! Make sure that the bot has the ability to 'Add members'. Other permissions are optional. The default settings will work fine.
Nice work! Click on LaunchPass to start selling access to your channel! Connect your Telegram and you should be able to see your Telegram channel under 'Select Channel'
